Late Period, crap. >_
Oct. 3rd, 2005 07:55 pmHey I just joined this community and I looked through the memories for a late period.
I put myself back on the patch (ortho-trievra or whatever it's called) and I put on Wendesday three weeks ago and then my sister said, "You should've put it on Sunday," so I put it on Sunday and I was suppose to have my period at the end of September. Now it's been a few days and I'm worried, I had sex with my boyfriend two weeks ago and we did use a condom.
But I'm worried that I might be pregnant or that my cycle is screwed up due to changing my patch on those said days. :( I'm willing to try the parsley tea to kick start my period though.
Any suggestions or input? Please help!
I don't want to try
amipregnant, they would've just sent me over here anyway. :(

Date: 2005-10-04 03:33 am (UTC)I've been on the patch for almost a year now and I'm going to the clinic on Friday so maybe I could ask my doctor there.
Well, I was suppose to start my period on the 28th of September and that came and went and no cycle appeared. :( So I'm almost a week late. I really think it's the patch too, since we used a condom, and it could be stress from school or something. Ugh, this sucks. T_T

Date: 2005-10-04 06:55 am (UTC)from your post i can't tell whether you took off the patch you had on on wednesday and put it back on on sunday or whether you just put on a new one on sunday or what exactly. all i can tell you is that you need to be on hormonal birth control for at least 7 days to be protected from pregnancy, so if you were on the patch for at least 7 days before you had sex, then you'd be protected not only by the condom but also by the patch (making it virtually impossible for you to be pregnant).
-p.s. the nice thing about amipregnant is they have that survey that clarifies all the little details to make it easy to answer your question. :-)

Date: 2005-10-04 07:31 am (UTC)stress will certainly affect your periods, as will the changes in hormones from your patch (and the couple of patchfree days).

Date: 2005-10-05 03:47 pm (UTC)But here's the complicated part: I put it on my lower back on Wednesday and then on Sunday I took it off (because it was pretty much coming off) and I put it on my upper right shoulder.
I was suppose to start my period on the 28th of September and my boyfriend and I had sex like two weeks ago, we used a condom the entire time.
So I really think that the patch screwed me up... maybe I should go to

Date: 2005-10-05 05:07 pm (UTC)Keep in mind that they tea thing might not work either (plus it tastes like open ass on a hot day), so don't let that freak you out MORE if it doesn't work. Just remind yourself that girly parts are a little fussy and whatever is happening will smooth itself out with a little patience.
