I'm three weeks late for my period. At the end of the first week I took a pregnancy test that was advertised as 99% accurate 3 days after one's period is supposed to have begun. It came out negative. I'm having doubts, since I've never ever missed a period before. I've been having mentrual-like cramps pretty much every day for the past couple of weeks to varying degrees. What do you girls think?? Should I try another test? Or does it seem like I'll just finally menstruate again at the beginning of the next cycle?

I would try another test, if this one is negative just relax.
Is there anything that would throw your period off? Switching/starting birth control methods? Stress? Other medications? Good luck!

I've known women who were still getting negative responses on pregnancy tests when they were 1-1.5 months late. So take another test, but even if it is negative, you can't really be sure until you a) see a doctor or b) get your period.

Good luck.

Make that 1-1.5 months late and pregnant.
