i just want to thank everyone that submitted their stories of their "first peroid" to me yesterday! it means so much to me to see people willing to share something so personal with a complete stranger... you girls are awesome! as it stands, i know i won't be able to include ALL of your stories [or else i'd end up making a GIGANTIC quilt!] but i think i might make an accompanying booklet to go with the final piece.

don't be afraid to keep the stories coming, though! there is no such thing as too many!

also, just so you all know, the stories that have been the most helpful to me are the ones in paragraph form, just because it flows better for a viewer to read. however, i know i'll still use some of the submissions that were Q&A style, as long as none of you mind a little editing. if you do mind, however, feel free to resubmit.

Thank YOU! I think this is an amazing project and I'm excited to see what the result will be, if you can get it online once it's finished. I'd love to see what you make out of the stories.
