My husband and I have been TTC(trying to conceive) for 7 cycles or 8mo. My cycles are about 33days long.
The first day of my last period was november 2nd. IVe had the tender breasts(my nipples hurt like mad!), nausea, extreme hunger, some weightloss(unintended), lots of bloating and upset for the past two weeks.

Then two days ago I started what i thought was my period. My temperatures(i practice FAM) indicated that i could be pregnant. Yet i was bleeding, so i just thought i mis-charted. ITs unusually dark and has continued past the normal days. The cramps are unbelievable. NOrmally im heavy and crampy for the first 48hrs. its been 4 days and theres no sign of it letting up.Theres been no changes in lifestyle at all to explain this.
Am i just seeing things that aren't there? ive miscarried before and its strikingly the same. help?

Its quite possible. I just had an early miscarriage last week(strikingly similr circumstances to yours...), and if I hadn't been practicing FAM, I would never have known we had concieved. If you had 18+ days of temps above your coverline, even without a positive home test, you likely concieved.

My bleeding was more or less a really crampy, heavy period- but I doubt everyone's experience is the same.

Yeah, I've only had one, so we just decided to relax about TTC for a month or two (though not actively TTA...) in case my body isn't in optimal health for conception for whatever reason.

I'm sorry about yours too.

Call you doctor. She can do a blood test on you (still at this point) which will let you know if you have been pregnant or not (from your homrone and other levels). And obviously, if she needs to do something about the bleeding, she can do so at that point.

miscarriages are so common, i wouldn't be surprised. between your last menstrual period date and now is such a short time that you would have presumably conceived about 1.5 weeks after that, and then it takes another what, 1.5 weeks or so for implantation, so really if this is a miscarriage, you probably would have been truly pregnant for 1 week or maybe less.

it could easily just be a wacky period - i think it might be quite hard to tell the difference at this stage.
