art about womanhood and menstruation

hi everyone!

some of you might remember me from about a month or so back when i posted and asked some of you to share the stories of your first period with me for the sake of an art project. well, the semester's over and the work is done so i thought some of you would be interested in seeing it.

only two of the pieces right now use the period stories because my teacher and classmates were enjoying my paintings so much that they thought i should put the quilt idea aside... but the entire series deals with concepts of fertility, menstruation and womanhood, which i thought would be appropriate to share with this community.
