Not entirely sure how to discribe this one, my joyous reminder I'm not pregnant usually comes around the 11th of the month (it bares no relation to how long the month it is just almost always comes on that day - don't ask me how or why), so far no show. At least I don't think so. I'm still getting my usual discharge (that would makes it sound so icky! Maybe cleansing fluid would be better...) but two or three times this week whilst "powdering my nose" I've noticed that sometimes it is pink. *Blood hurrah at last skuttle off to get a pad*. It doesn't stain the pad, is barely visible as blood and doesn't stay pink for very long (i.e. going back to my normal shade of cleansing fluid).

Is this spotting? And what kind of thing causes it? I fear my knowledge of the woman body is a little basic.

I'm in a mognomous relationship
Use birth control (pop)
Losing weight very gradually
Absolutely no stress in my life (seriously, sometimes I wonder if I live in a bubble)

Have a lovely day ladies!

Spotting or irregular bleeding is a common side effect of POPs, as is not having a regular period. Either of those could be the cause...if you're concerned about pregnancy a pregnancy test around the time you expect your period (or approximately two weeks after you think you might have concieved) could help to ease your mind, but do consult a health care professional if this continues to be a concern for you.

What does "pop" mean? I don't think I've ever seen that one before.
