pill woes;

i am usually as a clock. on wednesday around 10am, i have my period.

but now, five days before, i believe i may be having my period.

is that normal?

i did, unfortunately, forget to take my pill two days straight last week. on the third day, i took two pills, then i almost vomited, so i didn't take the third pill and just resumed the schedule.

HUM.

so, did i provoke my period by skipping two pills & then only taking one to compensate?


i feel like a teenager in need of a "you're going to be okay" pat on the back.

Any pill "problem" runs the risk of screwing up your period for a cycle.

and compromising your protection, if you're using it as birth control.

also, OP: please read your pill insert to find out whether taking two pills/missing one was appropriate for your brand (some recommend it, some dont).

All the ones I've had recommend you take one when you realize you missed and then another at your normal time...or take one morning and one night if you miss one or two, but after that you just restart taking them as normal. So yeah, definitely need to read the insert and see what it says :)
