So here I am, in a foreign country, (Spain) waiting for my week-late period. It´s kinda disturbing, since I´ve been really regular since about age 13. I keep thinking, "Aagh! What could be wrong?!" even though I know it´s probably nothing. I haven´t lost weight, I haven´t been seriously ill, and my being pregnant would be improbable enough to result in the founding of a new religion, I think. It probably has something to do with whatever made me briefly and violently ill when I arrived, but it still freaks me out.

Come on, cramps. I´m waiting, dammit.

it could also just have to do with your being in a strange place... change, even if it's not particularly stressful (and it sounds like it was at least a little stressful, what with being sick?) often has effects on your cycle, either causing you to be early, late, or just have god-awful hysterectomy-fantasy-inducing debilitating cramps (which is what happened to me when i started college.) so i don't think it's anything much to worry about, no...
