Hey again, gals.

So, I posted a little while ago asking if I could postpone or skip my period. I did nothing about it and got my period a couple days into the visit from the guy I talked about. Well, I couldn't help myself. I had never had sex on my period before, partly because my whole lower torso is usually very tender at that time, and partly becuase I always thought it would be gross and look like somebody got murdered on the bed. Well, I wasn't very tender and the guy was very understanding and said that it would be just fine if I freaked out and had to stop.

Okay, so it was definitely not as bad as I thought it would be. Just a small amount of blood on the condom, there wasn't even any on the towel we put down. So I was just curious, how does it usually go for those of you who have sex on your period? Is it usually worse than what I described, as far as messiness goes? I ask because I don't want to go into it next time thinking it'll be smooth sailing and end up with blood everywhere.

i think it would depend on the bleeder and the day of their cycle .. but then im an ejaculater so i always make a mess ♥

I don't know if others experience this but I've found that I bleed more heavily after sex (or more correctly, after orgasm). So I make sure to replace my cup as soon as possible.

I won't have sex on the first two days of my period, because I'm usually in so much pain and I bleed really heavy.

But after that, we usually lay a towel down and then my husband will either use the towel to wipe off, or he'll jump in the shower.

It's really not that gross, honest. I don't care for sex while I'm on it, because it doesn't feel as good to me.....

I don't have sex on the first two days of my period either, because it's so heavy I just feel like a big gush of blood.

But after that it's okay, and I've noticed that once the sex gets going, my blood flow stops and the natural lubricant (I don't know what else to call it) comes out. There might be a tiny bit of blood on the condom or whatever, but not much. After sex the blood starts again, like my period just paused or something.

I don't find it to be too troublesome, so long as i'm not cramping heavily or anything. when I was on certain pills, I found I was most frisky during my off-week, so it all depends on how you feel.

usually it's not too messy, but I wouldn't do it without making sure I had a towel, or sheets that were ok to stain.

yeah - going to the bathroom afterwards is always interesting, but put down a towel, or have sex in the shower and you shouldn't be covered in too much yuck. My boyfriend just calls it 'festive'.

I've only tried it real close to the end of "the week" and I can't say I'm a real big fan. Sex is messy enough as it is without having to wash blood out of my buttcrack. Ew. Sorry, that was gross.
