I decided to take a month off of Yasmin, just because I'm in college in Florida, and my boyfriend lives in CT. My period didn't come on time, which I was sort of expecting, but to avoid getting my period during a visit from him, I started them up again for about a week, having never gotten my period. We used condoms while he was here, except on the last day of his visit, at which point I'd taken the pills for 6 or 7 days. I took a few more day's worth after he left, then stopped taking them, hoping to get my period. Which I did, and slightly heavy the second day, but after that, nothing.
Laugh, anyone could make any sense of that, do you know what's going on? I expected a slightly heavier period, since I'd put it off a week or two. But I've never had such a short period before.
Any insight would be appreciated, thanks!

you really should follow the instructions of birth control. don't just start and stop it however you choose. it can cause side effects and difficulties. You really, really should follow the full 4 week cycle of pills and reminders/no pills. starting and stopping is a really bad idea

Trust me, stopping and starting can really mess your body up. I'm having similar issues.
