Too early to be concerned?
Mar. 21st, 2006 05:42 amMy cycle is usually 26-28 days between periods. Last month it was 42 days and when it finally showed it was debilitating - severe sweats, cramps, light headedness, nausea, and an extremely heavy flow. This month isn't looking any more promising. I was scheduled to get my period yesterday (would have been 28 days since the last one). Over the weekend I was feeling the usual symptoms - cramping, bloating, tender breasts, etc. It never showed yesterday and as of today all symptoms have disappeared. I can't stand the thought of spending the next two weeks wondering when my period is going to show up, or dealing with all that stuff that happened when it finally did show up.
Is it too early to be concerned? Should I contact my gyn or wait a few more months? It seems most of the time the gyn isn't too concerned if the problems haven't been occurring for at least several months.
I am supposed to go away this weekend and now it looks like I will have to spend the weekend worrying if my period is going to show up. I'm frustrated and concerned.
What do you think?
