When I get my period I feel horrible. Tired, weak, crampy, achy...I would like to find some foods that would make me feel a bit better. Have more energy maybe? Do you know what kinds of food could help?

another question.
I have been on the pill for 3 or 4 years. (there have been maybe 3 or 4 different kinds of pill though. Right now I have been taking Aleese since the fall of 2005) Anyways, I usually get my period Wednesday evening. However it came this morning. A little surprised but I don't have anything to worry about right? Is it normal for your period to come at different times even if you are taking the pill?

I took the pill for 13 years and it slowly moved around over those years so yes, that's totally normal.

As for the other question regarding feeling horrible. Perhaps your iron is low? You may want to try and eat Iron rich foods (red meat, spinach I think, 1 tsp of molasses a day, there are a lot more, do a Google search and type in Iron Rich Food and you will get lots of lists) try those when you are feeling tired and weak and see how you feel. If it continues I would see your Dr/Naturopath and see what they have to say.
