Hi,

I looked in the memories and didn't find what I was looking for - I'm really sorry if I skipped anything and if this is a repeat question.

I've heard the stories of parsley tea being used to induce your period, and I wanted to know when the earliest you could take it to induce it. I don't know if I worded that very well, so maybe if I can explain this I can get the point across better: I'm going on my dream vacation in July, and lo and behold - that's the week I'm scheduled get my period. I would really rather not be on my period that week, so would drinking parsley tea early enough allow me (if it works, that is) to have my period the week before? I know it varies from person to person, but has any one been able to do that before?

Also, is there any other ways to induce or even delay my period? I don't even care if it's all-natural or not, I'm pretty desperate to not have my period during that week. :(

Go on birth control pills! You can skip your period. If you have til July, you'll definitely be able to skip it during then.

You don't have to go to the gyno! You can do it at your regular doc's. She'll probably just do a pelvic exam, which is a little awkward but worth it if you get to skip your period pretty much whenever you want. I've never tried the tea thing, but with herbal things like that, my experience has been very hit or miss, and mostly miss.

They have birth controls that you only get your period a couple times a year, maybe you should look into that.

I doubt that any sort of tea drinking will be effective in making your period earlier.
