[identity profile] snthtcextc.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] menstrualhut
I looked under memories and didn't notice a section with discussion about ovarian cysts.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? (other LJ community or entires in this community-wise)
I'm pretty sure I currently have one that is causing much discomfort now.
I have an appointment with a doctor in two weeks.
Thanks, ladies.

Many ovarian cysts end up going away on their own. I had one, and it eventually did. Though it is good to get it checked out. Good luck!

I've had several Ovarian cysts within the last year, but only found out about it by accident. Most women with OC don't even know they have them and don't feel them at all. Here is my fav website on them: http://www.4woman.gov/faq/ovarian_cysts.htm

There are a couple of posts about them in the memories of [livejournal.com profile] womenhealth. See HERE (http://www.livejournal.com/tools/memories.bml?user=womenhealth&keyword=Gynecological+%28Reproductive+/+Genital%29&filter=all).

The only way to be diagnosed for them is to have a pelvic and transvaginal ultrasound after having a pelvic exam. so anything you read on the internet or in other communities should be taken with a grain of salt.
