Oct. 14th, 2001 01:13 pmThis is an interesting place.
I do have a concern, though.
A few months ago I went on a low-dosage type of birth control. (The normal kinds made me quite loony.) Since then, the first few periods were maybe two days in length, and rather light. I greatly enjoyed that respite from my norm -- six days and heavy, plus such cramping! But last week, I think the grand total of time I spent bleeding was six hours, and that was spaced out over two days -- I bled three hours or so one day, and the same the next day.
There are little blinking lights in the back of my mind, I know. While I haven't been consciously worrying about anything, I've had a few pregnancy-related dreams in the past few weeks. I suppose it would reassure me if anyone with experience might know whether such a small period is normal.
My sweetheart has also pointed out that I've not felt well for one reason or another for the past week. I'll be tired, or have a headache, or congestion, or gas. I've had a lot of headaches, actually. Is that something which might show up while using birth control?
Thanks.
