general ickyness
Sep. 8th, 2006 10:53 pmUgh. This is a depreciation post.
I really depreciate the cramps I have right now. But I'm used to those. What I REALLY depreciate is knowing my cycle is almost always exactly 28 days, meaning I SHOULDN'T be due until monday, but having the aching (literally) feeling that it's coming tomorrow. Tomorrow being the first day in 2 weeks I'll see my boyfriend, and the last day I can see him for another 2 weeks.
And how many of us are really actually comfortable sexing whilst on the rag?
I love my period. I love what it represents. I respect the natural process of my body. But I hate this part.
So, I don't know, depreciate your own common period woes. Or, if you know magic, tell me how to stop my period for just 24 hours.
This is the only reason I'd ever even consider going back on birth control. As un-femme as it may be, sometimes I really just want to make the decisions for my uterus. Agree/disagree?
Also depreciate the nasty side effects of cramps. See: diarrhea. That's right. I said it. Girls poop.

Date: 2006-09-09 03:20 am (UTC)From a personal one, I'm lucky my submissive (in the BDSM sense) husband has a blood fetish :P
(*Disclaimer: Nope, not a doctor, nor a nurse, nor taken any medical classes beyond the required health in school years ago. This is just stuff I've read/experienced.)
