Nov. 3rd, 2006 06:22 pmHi, new memeber and all, I hope this question is ok!
Basically, next week I have the chance to spend some time alone with my SO, only problem is, my period is due that week! I am on the 21 day birth control pill, and am planning to move straight onto my next pack so that i skip my period.
Does this reduce the effectivity of the pill?
And will I get any breakthrough bleeding? (I get very light periods usually)
And will it mean I have any other symptoms?
Thanks for your help!!

Date: 2006-11-03 11:00 pm (UTC)Whether or not you have breakthrough bleeding totally depends on your body. Some women do have it, and other women don't have it. You won't know until you try.
Or you could go another way and try Instead menstrual cups. You can have sex with them in, and it won't be messy.
