Hey everyone! I just have 3 questions... I've been on Ortho Tri-cyclen for almost 2 months now btw.

1. Since i've started the pill, my boobs have gone from a 32A to a 34B in two months... will they stop growing ot get any smaller?
2. Orhtho Tri-Cyclen is supposed to be really good for acne, yet mine has gotten worse, not better, will it start getting better?
3. I'm supposed to get my period Friday, Nov 17. The next day is my 2 year anniversary and were going to a hotel.... how can I skip my period?

Thanks!

They do stop growing.

Sometimes the Pill makes acne worse. But give it a couple more months as your body adjusts.

Just skip the last seven pills in the pack and start the new pack. No fuss, no muss.

"Just skip the last seven pills in the pack and start the new pack."

To clarify - skip the placebo pills. Some packs only have 21 pills, and don't have the 7 placebo pills, so it's important to be clear. [livejournal.com profile] wordweaverlynn isn't saying to skip the last 7 hormone pills.
If your pack has 28 pills in it, then the last 7 are placebos. Skip those and start the new pack with no days in between. That way, you shouldn't start your period yet. The 7 days of placebos are the days you should have your period. By continuing to take hormone pills during those 7 days, you shouldn't have your period. That doesn't mean you can take 7 days of the next pack and then stop to have your period. You should take the entire second pack, because if you suddenly stop, it could mess up your period.
Sometimes when women do this, they still have their period anyway, and sometimes they just have some spotting. Just so you know.

Also, if your pills are triphasic, you won't be able to skip your period this time. You have to go about it differently when the pills are triphasic, because each week has a higher dose of hormones. To skip your period on triphasic pills, you would have to take the first week of pack 1, then the first week of pack 2. Then the second week of pack 1, and then the second week of pack 2, etc.
If your pills are all the same colour, they're probably monophasic, which means you can skip your period this time. Triphasic pills are usually a different colour for each week, so you don't mix them up.

I just searched online, and I found some pages that say to skip your period with triphasic pills, you can just start a new pack at the end of the first one, the same as with monophasic pills. Another page said to start the second pack backwards, like you said, because when you start a new pack at the lowest dose when you've just been taking the highest dose, there's a higher chance that you'll have break through bleeding. Starting the second pack backwards minimizes the chance of that happening.

I tried to skip with OTC before and it did push back my period one week... but i started it anway and then bled for 3 weeks.

However since i managed to postpone my period a week the mission was accomplished as afar as i was concerned.

Thanks for the clarification -- you're absolutely right.

If you've gone from a 32A to a 34B, you've put on weight in general. If your chest size remained the same and cup size went up, then it might indicate the pill in action. But most people settle down after about 3 months, so stick with it.
