spotting

my last period was dec 13th 2006. my average cycle length is 34 days and its pretty much regular. my period is not due until january 16, 2007.
i've never spotted before but since my last period, i've had light spotting like 3 different times:
once in the middle of my cycle, another time a week after that and then again yesterday.
it lasts for like 1 or 2 days.
it hasn't happened to me before so is this normal? is it a sign of something bad? pregnancy, stress or something more serious?

you need to offer more information for us to help: have you been stressed lately? had unprotected sex? been ill? taken medication (eg antibiotics)? had a UTI or yeast infection?

stuff like that.

none of that, actually. i'm not on birth control or anything.

it might just be One Of Those Things. menstrual cycles sometimes change without warning.

How long have you been menstruating? Spotting is pretty common for the first two years or so. Even after that, like taldragon pointed out, it could just be a weird period thing.
