late period

i went to the doctor about my irregular spotting between my period and i got a pap smear. it came back and everything was normal.
but i still haven't gotten my period (i'm a week overdue and my last period was dec 13,2006).
am i in the clear and should i wait it out? or is something wrong and should i go back?
i'm not taking any BC or antibiotics or anything...

have you been stressed or on any medication? major life events?

are you sexually active?

(if the answer to all the above is no, i'd suggest waiting a bit longer - sometimes periods do wierd things)

i showered with my boyfriend but no sex...

i took 2 pregnancy tests just in case and they came out negative.

maybe wait for another week, and if it still hasnt appeared, see your doctor again?

Birth control should normally help regulate periods so if you find that you're having a problem with irregular periods, maybe try a form of BC.
