Hi, I'm new here, I decided to join because I sometimes need questions answerd. so yeah, here goes.

I've been on the pill, the trycyclin variety for about 7 months now. I've had to go on anti-biotics three times. I guess I should give you a little background info, once I started taking the pill my period came on the dot every 4th wednesday at about 9 am. After my first round of anti-biotics, it came every 4th wednesday at 11am. After the second, 2pm, now I'm on my third round. And so far it hasn't shown, so I'm kinda worried. I don't think I'm pregnant, but I am still a little worried.
I guess what my question is, Has anyone else had medications affecting their cycle like that? And does anyone know if the pill is supposed to keep everything that consistant?

I've never had that happen to me, but I do know that antibiotics can impair the effectiveness of birth control pills. Usually it says this on the antibiotic prescription sheet. Antibiotics effect the normal absorption of medications into the system. So maybe it could be due to that.

...and I assume the fact that you don't think you're pregnant means that you used another method of b/c while you were on antibiotics? If not, you really should... cause like the person above says, antibiotics can mess up the effectiveness of the Pill!

...but if it's less than a day late, I wouldn't sweat yet... stress or anything like that can also screw with your cycle. If it doesn't show by the end of the week, you might want to check with a doc.. but my bet is that it will just be late. Apparently that's happened to a lot of folks recently from stress....

And no need to worry, it came, just a couple hours off schedual. I am relieved though.
