Aug. 9th, 2007 10:11 pmI'm a little nervous. I've got my first gynocologist appointment this Tuesday... Other than the fact it's my first one and being nervous, I'll most likely be on the first or second day of my period.
So my question is, is it OK to have the appointment with my period? Or should I try to reschedule the appointment if I do get my period in the next couple of days?
And also, is there anything I'll need to know so I won't be blindsided by a question and such?
Thanks for anything you can help me with.

Date: 2007-08-10 02:20 pm (UTC)You'll probably want to come armed with basic family and personal health history (and history of this that or the other), when your last period was, any pregnancies, what birth control you're using - that sort of thing.
If you're going to talk to them about birth control, writing down your own questions in advance will help you not forget anything.
