The Patch

I know what everyone says about the Patch, but I absolutely love it. With my schedual, it's the perfect contraceptive for me. I don't have any real problems with it, until now.
No, I'm not talking about my mysteriously starting my period two weeks early.
I'm talking about the fact that when I'm not on it, my breasts are normal... as soon as I'm on the stuff, they start growing again! I started out in an A-cup. Now I'm approaching a D-cup. Anyone else have issues with this? I mean, it's normal for breasts to grow in your twenties, but no one in my family has them this big.

The added hormone boost could stimulate breast growth. I don't know enough about how much it could cause, but it doesn't sound surprising that they grew with a higher level of hormones in your body than you would normally have.

If you think it's alarming and a problem, talk to your doctor about it and see how normal that much growth is.

that sounds really horrifying to me.

my breasts totally deflated after taking myself off of the patch. i was up to a c (started at a b) and as soon as i got off it, i was back down to a b. my breasts still look a little deflated from the experience, despite actually growing to a c naturally.

Same with me. That was the one thing I missed about the patch ;)

To the OP: It's probably normal, although of course call your doctor if you want to make sure. From personal experience, however, I'd recommend getting some really nice lotion with vitamin E or shea butter or something, and lubing those puppies up :P Healthy, elastic skin will accommodate the new growth better, and if you do go off the patch it will help prevent the "deflated boobies" look which I also go.

I'm glad the patch is working for you, I wish it had worked for me! It was so convenient, but not worth the morning sickness :(

I did not have this problem with the patch but with the pill. I have gained a cup size that has not gone away since I stopped taking it and I am in my 30's. Doc said that all is well but that some birth control triggers breast tissue growth. It freaked me out so I stopped and I am still searching for a replacement.
