cramps but no period

Is there something strange bout having all the signs of a period, but no period itself?
intensely heightened sex drive, always being 'wet', moody-ness/etc
and today shortly after I woke I was hit by the most intense pain I've ever felt.

its like cramps in my lower belly but..  ten times worse than any I've ever felt.
couldn't sit, couldn't curl up, couldn't get to my feet.
practically had to crawl to the shower, hoping that hot water/steam would make me feel better

the pain is so bad it makes me nauseus if I move at all.
its mostly on one side, but radiates across the whole lower abdomen, even makes my girly bits hurt

and coughing makes me want to stab myself in the belly because it makes everything move and hurt worse.

the last few months i've been having a much milder... seems like I'm on my period..but there's no blood.
its happened before but never with cramps before.

meh. 

took 4 midol and I'm going to try to find some way of sitting/laying that doesn't make me want to die.

how long has this been happening? have you talked to your doctor?

i don't have a doctor. currently unemployeda and in the process of moving cross country soon.

and the pain thing, never happened like that before. I took a couple of codeine on top of the midol and it went away, hasn't come back... even had sex last night and while everything still felt sensitive it didn't hurt

there's still a faint twinge/throb sensation but the pain only lasted for that hour or so until the meds kicked in. I made myself get up and walk around a lot.

You need to see a doctor about this. It may be nothing, but you don't want to risk it.

Planned Parenthood lets you pay on a sliding scale depending on your income. At least they did when I was in college. I would get it checked out. To me it sounds like it could be several different things. A tubal pregnancy, a flipped over ovary or kidney stones.

it went away after a bit (codeine helped) and hasn't come back since.

when i get moved i might look into it if there's still an issue. currently I have no income. was in a very bad/controlling/abusive relationship where I wasn't allowed to have a job.. I've left him finally and friends are paying for me to move cross country to where he can't find me. if its a pregnancy, I'm fucked... unless I get an abortion and never tell the ex... cause otherwise he'll force me to come back. You'e no idea how free-ing it was to get everything that mattered tome packed up and be gone so that he'd come home to an empty house and a 'good riddance' type of note.

'course, other than not having an actual period there's been no signs of a pregnancy so I'm not worried about that

and its fairly normal (for my lack of a recognizable cycle, about once every year or two i randomly go about 6-8 months without a period, just a heavyish discharge for a couple of days every month... then have a couple of extremely heavy/long lasting periods when it does start up again.

It might be endometriosis, so its important you get it checked out!
