Does anyone in the hut have an answer to this rather curious phenomenon?
2 weeks a go, I skipped my green pills and went directly into my next pack, in order that I might also skip my period (had a big weekend with the boy planned). It worked - no period, no weirdness, no problem. However, I'm now almost done with the second week's pills - and my period has decided to make a surprise (and rather copious) appearance. Why might this be? Any ideas? Comments?

That's why monophasic pills are usually recommended for skipping your period :) Don't worry too much about it, it's probably more of a hassel than anything else.
