I feel like I'm losing my mind... which was already lost to begin with!

My last normal period started on October 5th.  I was due to start again on or around November 2nd, but didn't start until 2 weeks LATER (November 13th), and I'm STILL BLEEDING!   In the time between November 2nd and November 13th I must have taken 8 pregnancy tests, which all came up negative.. so I know this isn't a miscarrage.   Interesting thing is I have zero cramps.. and usually my period cramps are intense.  This bleeding has become heavier as each day passes.  Anyone have any ideas what might be going on?

If you're not on hormonal birth control it could be a lot of things...maybe fibroids. That's just a completely random guess based on absolutely nothing. You really need to see a gynecologist.

i am not sure as to what it could be...there are many possibilities.

however, if you have been bleeding steadily for almost a month, you NEED to see a Ob/Gyn ASAP.

Hmmm!

Hi There,

I'm by no means qualified, but I am a medical herbalist student. The thing with menstrual cyscles is that they can be varied, which is more normal than not if that makes sense!! (as we all know too well.)

The fact that your period was late, means that it is likely there was a problem and you didn't ovulate normally on your due date.

Are your periods normally regular, and are they normally heavy?

The fact that the bleeding is getting heavier, suggests (to me) that there has been some kind of blockage, that is starting to clear..yes, it could be fibroids, or any number of things really, inflammation- I really recommend you get checked out, because increased bleeding for a month is not good.

Also, take an iron supplement, as loss of this much blood can make you anaemic.
Keep your fluid intake up too.

Perhaps (energetically speaking) there has been some kind of blockage/ circulation issue which has previously caused the cramps, that has now resolved itself.

Hope you get better soon.

(Yarrow is a good herb to slow bleeding, and also help the liver process where excess work is demanded of it- such as hormone surges!!)

X Blessings

Makes you grateful for the fact that our healthcare is free (Scotland), even if there is a lot wrong with the system!!!

Hold in there,

Sending you light!
