Jan. 18th, 2008 09:45 pmmy boyfriend and i recently broke up, but we were sexually active last month. we generally had protected sex, and i know it isn't foolproof, but in the few times we didn't use a condom, he never came inside of me.
i noticed a strange, white milky discharge a few weeks ago. i eventually started my period, and bled heavier than ever. i was changing my tampon every other hour on average, and the amount of bloodloss made me feel very weak. toward the end of my period, i started experiencing painful cramps, which have lingered even after i have stopped bleeding. it hurts especially to use the bathroom, kind of like getting stabbed upward, thus i've been using the bathroom less despite knowing the importance of eliminating waste. this too seems to add to the discomforting pressure of my pelvic/lower abdominal region.
i intend to get checked out monday morning, but in the meantime, do these symptoms sound familiar to anyone....does anyone have any advice?
