it's incredible how familiar i am becoming with my body again. after being off birth control for about six months now, it's finally coming together. here's what i've learned:
i have pms. i can identify what it is when i'm having it. unfortunately, knowing doesn't make it any better. mine is mostly attitudinal (heh), and only lasts a day or two. i haven't tried any otc medications or anything, because i'd rather just deal with it naturally.
i break out right before my period. again, like clockwork. while it's aggravating, it's also kinda nifty in its regularity. it's also a good warning sign for me to start carrying around my keeper. it hasn't steered me wrong yet!
my period lasts 4-5 days. i expect this to fluctuate as i start getting in sync with my girlfriends. but i'm just happy the week (or two) long periods are finally behind me. hooray!!
anyway, just wanted to type up these positive thoughts real quick while i'm still in the menstrual hut here. i'm nearing the last days of my cycle, so i'll be leaving again soon. thank you again,
