Nov. 21st, 2001 11:13 amOk, I know this happened before... but I think it might not be a false alarm this time.
My period is late. Usually I get it either Tuesday or Wednesday morning. Well.. it's Wednesday morning.. and it's not here. Could it be because of my bronchitis medication? Like, it's just going to be a little laggy because of the meds? The thing is, I had sex with my ex not too long ago. Probably like 1 1/2 weeks. And he didn't come inside of me, but I heard that you can still get pregnant from that clear stuff that oozes out of their penis beforehand.
And when I asked the nurse at the hospital when I was getting my medication subscription, I told her that I was on birth control [ortho tri] and asked whether or not it would interfere with the medication. She said that I'd have to use another form of birth control. But THEN, when I went to Planned Parenthood, I asked one of the nurse-people the same thing, and she said that ortho tri would still work if I was on any type of medication.
So I kinda just believed the nurse at Planned Parenthood, stupidly assuming that they knew more about that type of thing. So now I'm pretty much kicking myself in the ass for not taking heed. But, I'm just really fucking nervous right now. Has anyone else had the same problem? Or any advice? I'm reeeeaallllly scared!!!!

ok i was talking to a few friends the other day and they brought up the topic having kids. now a bright friend of mine said something that had me curious. i tried to find something on the internet but i am not so internet suave.
ok my question is.....
"can you get 'morning sickness' before you are actually late for your period. or does this pretty much just set in after the fact that your late and preggers?"
ok i sound completely dumb. i dont have kids, nor do i see any in the near future. but i also know that everyone women's body is different and stuff. so if you have any input i'd like to hear.
thanks.....

Just Teasin' Ya.
Nov. 21st, 2001 02:03 pmGratefully my menstration BASICALLY ended on Monday. I was all relieved and such THEN just for kicks my body decides it will leave a little more. It's like the left over crap. Not REALLY enough for a tampon, and not often enough to let you know you should wear a pad. It's like my body is sayin," Oops...just teasin' ya." You know like one of those mean gals from high school that are nice to you for a day, and the next do something to make you feel lowly. Or at least it reminds me of those scenes in movies where the cool yet uncool person gets screwed over.
