Nov. 21st, 2001 11:13 amOk, I know this happened before... but I think it might not be a false alarm this time.
My period is late. Usually I get it either Tuesday or Wednesday morning. Well.. it's Wednesday morning.. and it's not here. Could it be because of my bronchitis medication? Like, it's just going to be a little laggy because of the meds? The thing is, I had sex with my ex not too long ago. Probably like 1 1/2 weeks. And he didn't come inside of me, but I heard that you can still get pregnant from that clear stuff that oozes out of their penis beforehand.
And when I asked the nurse at the hospital when I was getting my medication subscription, I told her that I was on birth control [ortho tri] and asked whether or not it would interfere with the medication. She said that I'd have to use another form of birth control. But THEN, when I went to Planned Parenthood, I asked one of the nurse-people the same thing, and she said that ortho tri would still work if I was on any type of medication.
So I kinda just believed the nurse at Planned Parenthood, stupidly assuming that they knew more about that type of thing. So now I'm pretty much kicking myself in the ass for not taking heed. But, I'm just really fucking nervous right now. Has anyone else had the same problem? Or any advice? I'm reeeeaallllly scared!!!!

If all is okay, its probably just your normal body funking around, compounded by the stress of thinking you might be pregnant.
