I am so annoyed.

I went to the Dr yesterday, for my "health assessment" aka yearly pap.

No big deal, right? Wrong.

It hurt when they removed the speculum. I commented, they apologized.

I go home, and end up falling asleep while reading. I get up last night, and go to the bathroom, and find a few spots of blood in my panties. Basically, I'm bleeding as though it is the last day of my period, when you can get away with nothing more than panty liners, and I'm cramping.

Should I call the Dr about this? Or ignore it? I've been getting paps done every year for almost 5 years now, and this has never happened to me before.

Hey, I just joined. I thought I could maybe/sometimes be of help. And sympathize with everyone who gets horrid cramps!
I'm Lizz, work in OB/GYN [yep, that doc], have a cat, BCP=Ovcon 35.
I only get my period once every 3-4 months. I take my pills continuously, leaving out the placebos. Yes, you are allowed to do that. Is wonderful for those who have beastly cramps, heavy flow, etc.
My question: do any of you, who are in HS, get to stay home from school bcz of cramps? I was NEVER allowed. And I would be seriously nauseous.
OK, that's my book for now.
