hello ladies. im new.

i started today :( bleh.

i had a question though..when you have your period is only your lower back suppose to hurt ....becuase my middle to upper back was sore and i was wondering if this was period related or it was just hurting?

so, who else will rummage through the car to find a tampon when the house turns up empty? ;)

i know it's more common than anyone lets on. :9

anyhow, the only tampons in the house are super. i bought them by mistake and can only use them on the first day of my period and here i am on day two. ah, well. i was planning on going into town today for a movie, so i guess i'll stop by whole foods and pick up a box.

i dislike wearing pads outside the house. i have cloth pads, natracare pads, and always, but i prefer wearing tampons when i'm out and about. so... it's out to the car to scrounge for salvation.

i haven't had a real period in about a year and the doctor gave me provera to take 3x a day for 3 days. my question is has anyone had experience with this and if so, do you know when the provera induces a period? is it after a day? after a week? any comments will be helpful, thanks

OK,

So, I've been off bcp's (dianette) for a couple of months and decided that when my next cycle begun I would once more begin the daily chore of swigging them back. So, last Monday I started to bleed and began to take the tablets. Normally I bleed for 3 days, and so by Thursday it had stopped. However, on Saturday I noticed a red stain in my knickers and by Sunday I'm experiencing abdominal cramps, lethargy and have started to bleed once more. Now then, during the past week or so I've been sick but not within around 5 hours of taking my dianette. Could this have imbalanced me? I've not experienced anything like this in the 7 years I've been menstruating. Has anyone else experienced this? Or does anyone have any idea why?
