Hi, I'm new and I was wondering...

Do any of you happen to know more about the new bc patch that they've just recently come out with?

I have asevere periods- [pcos as I'm sure many of you can understand]. Horrid cramping, EXCESSIVE bleeding for long periods of time... etc.
My ob/gyn has tried me on several pills and I'm now on yasmin. I'm only a week into taking it.
My sister was reading an advertisement and thought perhaps the patch would be something to look into. Might deliver a more direct dosage of the proper hormones, less for me to remember, less hassle etc.

I intend to ask my ob/gyn about it on the second when we do my pill check.
In the mean time I was hoping that maybe some of you might be familiar with it and possibly give me some facts, opinions or experiences .

so i just joined, im 16 and my name is Eva.

but enough about me and lets talk about the blood. :)

my period is really screwy, it always kinda has been. ive been putting off going to the dr because well i just dont want to and im afraid that there will be something wrong with me.
so here is the situation...
My periods have always been weird, never really punctual. i used to have them kinda frequently, it always seemed like i was on the rag. they would come like every 2 to 3 weeks and stick around for a while. and now i got my period at the end of april/mayish and i didnt get it until like the second week of july. yea, i know. so i of course was very happy to get it and now i havent gotten it since. it will be 3mnths without blood on the 8th of october. any ideas? advice? i keep telling myself that im only sixteen and that its normal to have weird freaky cycles, which to a point it is but dammit i dunno...plus i just miss aunt flo. i love having her around. :)
