I got my period on Halloween! Whee! Somehow, blood, scary day... it just seems weirdly appropriate. And it came right on schedule. Powers that be bless the Pill (I'm on Alesse ^_^)

I love Alesse too; it's so kind to my mind ^_^
I was on ortho-tri-cyclen for a few months and it made me soooo crazy. I can be a normal person on Alesse.

i was never on anything other than alesse, but i've heard SO many horror stories about ortho...i'm so glad that the gyno gave me alesse.

OOH! I am curious now, what is different about ALesse? I turned into a psycho sniviling idiot on O-T-C, tried something else that was supposedly low-estrogen and it didn't make things any better.

The main thing with Alesse, too, I think, is that it's a very low dosage... but also, there are different estrogens and progesterones out there... so it's worth giving different pills a try.

On the tricyclen, I basically had 2 moods -- horny, and crying. It was not good. On the Alesse, I'm pretty normal. I do definitely get worse PMS on the Pill than off it, but it's sort of offset by being able to give those near and dear to me warnings, due to my extreme regularity (something I *also* don't have off the Pill)... I can say to my bf, "hey, starting wednesday afternoon I'm gonna be moody."
