I want my period to start. Those who know me personally would probably shit their pants hearing me state what I just wrote: I want my period to come.

This thought actually scares me. I have never wished my period upon myself, because it always incapacitates me.

I guess the reason I want it to come is because I really want to start my birth control pills. I am absolutely tired of being in so much pain and inconvenienced whenever it occurs. My last period was May 2nd. And if I wasn't a virgin, I'd go insane thinking I was pregnant.

I was wondering if anyone had any advice whatsoever on making your period come earlier. I really want to start the birth control, and the only way I can start it is when my period comes.

If anyone has any advice, I would greatly appreciate it.

In my English Comp 2 class we had to do debates and one of the topics was about Viagra and birth control. According to the people who did the debate there are quite a few insurance companies that cover Viagra but not a single form of BC. I haven't done the research on it so I'll just take their word, but the point is if a company provides coverage for Viagra should they also provide coverage for BC?

To me BC should not be viewed as simply an optional pill to prevent pregnancy since there are so many women who use it for very valid health reasons. Viagra's only health benefit seems to be emotional if a man suffers mental anguish from not being able to perform sexually. Therefore, BC should definitely be covered if Viagra is. To not cover it is blatant sexual dicrimination.

so i had my period last week, it started like the day AFTER my last active pill, which was really odd, but then i figured that it was probably because i'd lost a weird amount of weight due to my coming home and not really eating much here... anyway... and i tried the raspberry leaf in tea and that worked wonderfully! :) just thought you would like to hear about that and that there's another chick who found it working well :)

oh... and if any of you WONDERFUL ladies out there would happen to know of something caustic enough to eat through.. uhm... steel? and yet gentle enough to use on an open wound... i have some "new skin" (that liquid skin stuff to put over a cut) that i need to remove... i sliced my finger at work today cutting lemons and had to do a "quick fix" and it looks messy now and i was hoping to remove the stuff so that i could fix it now.. :p but alcohol isn't cutting it... (hah, cutting it) this stuff has like hermetically sealed my fingernail :(
