my left knee and thigh have been achy and sore these past two days which means i'll be in the hut very soon. it's like having spaghetti legs. have any other women found that their legs are their barometers for when their period storm is a'comin? i told my mom about it and she thought it was pretty cool but she also said that many women, while pregnant, experience the same thing. it has to do with a hormone that increases the elasticity in the muscles. so i may be very susceptible to that when i have a baby.

Hey hey, I'm new, and I thought this would be a good place to ask this question...

So I'm using my new Diva Cup for the first time, and I've been having a bit of a hard time inserting it. I'm pretty sure I've gotten it in OK, the way it's supposed to be positioned inside, with the stem coming out but not pushed up to far. The thing is, I can still feel it in me. I guess it pinches a tiny bit, but doesn't really hurt, it's just slightly uncomfortable. Is this normal? Is it something you get used to? How do I know it's inserted properly and correctly? Any feedback would be super appreciated. :)

Hi...

I hate to sound particularly ignorant here, but I just started bleeding yesterday, sort of. And, well I think it might not be my period. I'm not due for another week, and my cycle is usually pretty reliable. I haven't had any unusual events recently that might have triggered an early period. And usually I know my period is coming about a week before because I get hugely pre-menstrually cranky. I also usually get cramps, and my tummy is sorta sore, but not like cramps, a bit higher and different.

It's just a little bit of blood, that seems to come when I, er, strain. But it's definately from my cunt. (Well, I'm not feeling like I have a UTI, but I guess sometimes it's hard to tell whether the blood is coming from there.)

So, are there any reasons other than menstruation that I might be bleeding? Like... er... ruptured ovary or.... alien invasion... or... I don't know. I guess I am a hypochondriac sometimes but I know my body quite well, and this is unusual, and I have a bad feeling about it.

Okay... Everyone else who accidentally bought the wrong kind of pads this month and is pissed about it, raise your hands!

[grumble] I wasn't paying attention at Target and bought pads without wings. Now I'm gonna be worried about scrunching of pads and associated potential for crotch leakage all week.
