Hi, I'm new. My name is Jordan and I'm eighteen years old. I have a question about the regularity of my periods.

I got my period when I was eleven and it was pretty normal ( I never skipped periods) up untill I was about sixteen and a half/seventeen years old. I just completely stoped having it. Like I think I got my period all of two times when I was sixteen. I got tested for poly-cystic ovarian and thyroid problems and came back clean.
At first I thought it might have been due to weight gain and or my starting on anti-depressants... But I've since lost weight and stopped taking medication and the only thing that got me going on a regular schedule again was after I started having sex. Even weirder, after I moved away from my SO my period has been MIA.
Has anyone else had this happen to them? Does anyone know anything about sex effecting the menstrual cycle? I'm kind of baffled here.

Any comments, ideas, speculations welcome. :)

my period just ended two days ago and this morning i had unprotected sex. i was supposed to start the pill this coming sunday, but now i dont know if i should because of the sex. recently in the past month i took plan b (EC) due to a broken condom and i dont want to take it again. does anyone know of any pregnancy tests that have early detection and if so which ones? i dont want to start the pill if i might be pregnant. any help please?
