Alright. I'm new here and also kind of in a hurry for a way to deal with this!

I'm spending next week with my significant other, and I really don't want my period to screw things up, if you know what I mean.

I've had these horrible crampy pains for about 3 days, but nothing's happening. I'll be away from next Monday til the following weekend. I just want to be free of it for some portion of next week, favorably the later portion. Unfortunately, my period can last over a week on occasion, and inducing can still take several days, from what I've read.

This is heartbreaking. We won't have another opportunity like this for quite some time.

I don't know whether to try and postpone or induce, or just try and either shorten the number of bleeding days or keep it light.

I'd appreciate any advice you ladies could offer me, as I'm just too stressed and indecisive right now. >

I am on Ortho 1/35 for going on 5 months. I decided to skip my period last month, and everything went fine.
This month my period came on time, but it seemed to start heavy, then the next day its really light. Its been 2 days now and all I really need to wear is a panty liner.
I remember the first time I had my period on this pill it was heavy and horrible. The second period was light but lasted a week.
Is this normal? To have different periods??

So, ovulation. Is it common to bleed during ovulation, and if so, how much blood would you say is average?
