Hey. Okay so this is going to be one of those wandering, rambling questions, but please do read through, because I am totally insanely worried. =)

I started Yasmin (the pill) a while ago and ended 6/10. Haven't taken in since then. Got my period around 10/10 and it ended 15/10. During this time, I had sex once and being my paranoid self, took Postinor2 (morning-after pill). Now, I started bleeding again 20/10 - but it's not the same thick blood I had during my period. It's more watery, and the first couple of days it was BLOOD blood - like, when dried, it was brown and powdery; instead of the kinda slimy lining-type blood you get during your period.

Any clue what's wrong with me? Please help!

Are your dates in the format day/month? I was really confused :/ I'm guessing since you took the morning after pill, that's what caused the different bleeding.

I was thinking maybe that type of pill was on a weird cycle or something.. and you had your period on day 6 out of 10, but then when it got to 20 out of 10, i got confused. So I thought about it a little. lol

I take this birth control called Lybrel. I never have periods. It's great :) I haven't had one in over a year. Sometimes I have spotting if I forget to take a pill but it usually goes away after a day.

Nope. that's the way it's made. There is no placebo week at all. You just keep taking it without a break and there will never be periods if you take it correctly :)

kinda. it sucks because it would be harder for me to tell if I was pregnant, since I wouldn't be skipping a period. But I really enjoy not having periods, and not having cramps, or worrying about bleeding through pants, etc.

Hopefully if/when I decide to go off it, I will be able to get pregnant. That's my main concern :/

Any kind of blood is normal. Brown, black, purple, red, clotty, thin, thick, stringy, goopy. All normal.

I understand. Blood is blood. It's normal even if it's not normal for you.

it's most likely the morning after pill that made you bleed again. it usually has strange effects like that but nothing you should worry about, as long as you don't use it too often. though i'm not sure if you know this but you didn't even have to worry about getting pregnant ^^. if you use the pill as you're supposed to, you're infertile during your entire cycle, and that includes when you're not taking the pill for those seven days. just wanted to make sure :)
