sorry, folks! but i'm paranoid... and you've been ever-so-helpful last time (my thanks btw. I'll probably post in the comments there whatever the doc does--i'm seeing her tomorrow).

so... i noticed today that i'm getting light spotting. now this wouldn't alarm me, as i'm on orthotrycyclen and that's a listed side effect, except i've never had this happen before. and i've been on b/c upwards of a year and a half...

i don't think it's serious. or at least that's what i'm trying to convince myself. so far it's been pretty light.. and i'm going to ask the doc about it tomorrow also. but any thoughts as to possible causes or significance?

um.. i've been under more w/o it happening, but that was the first thing i thought of :)

well i went to the doc today, she said the only thing she could think of at all serious that might be it was chlamidia or gonnorhea (sp?) but that she seriously doubted either. she did tests anyhow. and *yay* she did an internal exam without it being painful... probly, she said, cause last time i'd had one (or tried to have one) i had never had sex and very rarely used tampons.

yes. i am very relieved. *sigh* thanks for encouraging comments over the last day or two!

I had/have that...I think it's mostly because I can never remember to take the damn things on time. Even if it's just a few hours late, it can make you spot. Which is damned annoying...

*grin* agree with the annoyance... although especially this month i've been *religious* about taking them on time... but according to the doc it's probably nothing anyhow :)
