cramps so bad that i'm squirming in my seat while trying to write a damn paper. i feel like someone is brutally carving my ovaries out with a spoon.

Ouch. Just went through that myself. Lots of midol and some hot cocoa and, well, never having to move out of the fetal position seems to do the trick.
