does anyone else have a dream that they are starting their period the nite before it starts.
i always have ever since i started. so... for like7 years.
i always have a dream the nite before. so im always prepared the next day.
its never failed me.
but i think its a little strange...
does this happen to anyone else?

Pre-Menstrual Dreaming

Glad you brought that question up.

I often have intense visual dreams two-three nights before my moontime flows. I often see blod in these dreams. In this past year, two of my pre-menstrual dreams were precogniscent... in my last pre-cog dream, I actually walked, one day later, through the same loft art gallery with the same stairs and hallways that I had dreamt of the morning before. The loft space was quite identical to space I saw in my dream... there even was an empty desk in the gallery on a wooden floor, just as there was in my dream!

I strongly believe the para-menstruum is a time of heightened feminine wisdom and menstrual power. I love this time of my cycle the most.

For the past 3 years I've kept a dream journal recording not only the patriarchal calendar date, but also my cycle day and the lunar days (what phase and sign the moon is in). This allows me to compare all my pre-menstrual dreams across my cycles.

I've also noticed that my pre-ovulation dreams are distinct and different from my pre-menstrual dreams. My pre-ovulation dreams show more imagery of nature, especially ocean.

I love this subject.... it fascinates me.
