When I was 15, I was on this gymnastic team that went around and performed at schools and events around our state...

One day, just before we're getting ready to load up and head out to an event, I got my period. Our coach gave me a tampon...but I can't use tampons, they hurt me. So I wadded up a good deal of TP and went the entire day with it in my underwear. Doing gymnastics.

Thank god it didn't leak or soak through.

I'm sympathetic about how much the TP situation sucks.

stupid thing is, i think a guy saw me reach down to readjust it - the TP slides out of place easilly.

the first time I bled, I was in 8th grade and had to finish the day with toilet paper (even gym) because I didn't know the nurse kept pads... good thing I'm not the type to be traumatized by that sort of theing, lol!

I've done that. (I've even done it for childhood incontinence brought on by untreated kidney infection; that's one that'll make you popular at primary school!)

What I hate is when the bits of toilet paper and dried blood get stuck to both your underwear and your hair. That hurts.

Once my period actually came while I was at the beach and in the water. I didn't realize until I'd gotten out of the water and had been sitting on my beach blanket for quite some time, very embarrassing as I was with my father. The dispenser in the bathroom was empty. I had to use TP and my suit was wet. It was not a nice combination.

I usually use TP when I'm at home. In fact, I rarely use tampons except for when I'm at school or something.
I used TP today, that's just cause I didn't have naything else because my damn school doesn't keep tampon dispensers anymore....But they CAN buy all new doors and other random and pointless items to waste their money on..
Geez..Seriously..How much can a tampon dispenser cost, damnit?
