Jan. 8th, 2002 05:28 pmI was sort of inspired and so on from the post a couple of days ago where someone was speaking about using toilet paper as a pad for the whole day...
Which reminded me of my own life for the first few years of menstruating (up until I was 14 or so). I live in a tiny ex-soviet country. In a tiny tiny little town. I won't bore you with the details of soviet history, the social life and how the stores didn't have enough bread for people (not to mention anything else).
So.... trying to look like a veteran of hard life... I say that THANK GOD WE HAD TOILET PAPER!!!
Cos I think I was around 14 when I *saw* a pad for the first time in my whole life and it was several more years until the tampons hit the market here.
LOL. It's ok, you can say that I'm a heroine or something.
