hi. im new to this community and wanted to say hello. but i do have a question and i hope that yall can help me out...

ok. my periods always been irregular since i got it. so i never know when im gonna get it. first question...like last month. i got my period lasted for 18 days(err) then a week later i got it again but i didnt know that it was my period cuz it was like brownish and it wasnt alot coming out. so i basically got it agen. i went to the docs and she felt my stomach and at one place it hurt really bad and she said...ok...thats ur uterus then she told me i had to go see a gyno. what do u think could be wrong?

also..i have anotha one... i dont get cramps with my period. but when i dont have it i get these super intese pains in my lower stomach, like a few inches below my belly button. these are so bad that if im sitting up in a chair or sumthin i have to try to lean over to make the pain stop. and i have to put my forehead down to my kness sumtimes in order for that to work.and if im standing or walking i have to stop and bend down til it stops.. but the most agony happens when i lay down cuz i cnat lay flat so i turned and it hurts i just lay in my bed like crying and screaming cuz theres nuthin i can do bout it. does anyone know what could cause this? thanks!

Aimee

tell your doctor or see a gynocologist about it... could be normal for you, or could be something else... anything from a cyst to endemetriosis. Whenever there is really a question, though, the doctor is a must see, I think :)

good luck!

i go through the same exact thing that you are describing. my periods were never normal. sometimes i wouldn't get it for months, at other times it would last weeks, and the flow was always heavy. i also had mad cramps that would paralyze me. it turns out that i had an elevated prolactin level which was throwing my cycle off (i'm on meds and birth control for that) and i also found out that i have cysts, which caused me all of that excrutiating lower abdomen pain. you should definitely see your gyno. i hope it all works out for the best and isn't anything serious.

::hugs::

Wouldn't you consider the pain below your bellybutton to BE cramps?

Because mine are definately lower than my bellybutton. . .or is it too high to be cramps?

Sometimes it is really crampy and painful because you go a long time without getting it. . .I am very irregular too and if I go a LONG time without it, the cramps can be unbearable.

Between the pain and the irregularity though, you might want to go see your doctor, just to make sure everything is ok.

i've always had horrible cramps like you are recieving, but my period is regular (for the most part)

i had a cyst 3 years ago, but i still have pain now. i've ended up in the hospital emergency room with cramps a few times over the past 2 years and nothing is wrong. i've been tested for every thing my doctors can think of, and examined by my gyno.

so, you could just have nothing but a painful period...
you should just go make sure nothing is wrong and get some medication.

i personally have tried almost everything, midol, to annaprox, pamprin, other painkillers and now i am trying a new kind of birth control.

i hope you have better luck than me:)
