after the fact...
Jan. 14th, 2002 08:31 pmso my period was last week, but i was home (from college) and so didn't post. but it wasn't as bad as usual--i'm impressed! told my bf the first day i was waiting for the other shoe to drop, and it never did... cramps far lighter than usual, only had to take meds for about a day and a half, total. wow! i'm so very impressed...
speaking of impressed, cheers to aforementioned boyfriend. he's even less squeamish than i am about menstrual blood... doesn't mind fooling around while i'm bleeding, puts warm hands on my belly when i wince and gives me back rubs... i'm so very impressed. and this despite the fact that he has no sisters (one brother) and i'm his first serious girlfriend. i'll have to be extra-nice to him to make up for it.. i know i can get bitchy from hormones, too! (who doesn't? :)

Date: 2002-01-14 10:10 pm (UTC)My bf doesn't mind hearing me tell him waaaaaay too much info about my cycle, doesn't mind my complaining about bleeding, understands when it's the hormones and not really me, doesn't mind sex during my period, and gives me backrubs :)
of course, I'm not his first serious live-in girlfriend, so one would expect he's had practice with these things. Yours is definitely commended for not even needing training ;)
