I came home to find a lovely yellow envelope containing my first keeper. I proudly displayed it to my mother who's supportive response was, "Get the hell out of here. Are you nuts?"

I couldn't wait to try inserting it. I decided to have a relaxing hot shower first. It wasn't easy. Keeping it folded was the hardest part. Attempting to remove it after the failed insertions was even worse. I am happy that I cannot feel the keeper at all and that the only discomfort I feel is a slight burning sensation which I'm sure is from the several incorrect insertions.

I attempted to rotate the keeper as was suggested to insure that the keeper had unfolded but the thing would not budge once inside. I attempted gripping the base to rotate it but it was firmly in place. There was a slight indent in the base but I found it impossible to get my fingers any higher to see if the rim had unfolded. Is there any way to tell that it has unfolded? Do those of you who have gotten the hang of this still wear an alternative form of protection?

do tell, do tell

(TMI alert, for phobic people... lol)
usually I check to see if mine's unfolded by sticking one finger to one side of the thing, and seeing if it's all nice and round or still sorta bumpy and all... and usually if it's still folded, rotating it (same finger, same position) that way will unfold it...
hope that helps?

Does it require much strength to squeeze or insert? I've got arthritic fingers, and sometimes they haven't got much dexterity. I don't want to invest in a Keeper if I might not be able to use it.

If ob tampons sometimes hurt my hands to insert, is the Keeper likely to be useful, in your opinion?

When reading the site info I found out about the money back guarantee. I dunno if this thing will work but I am sure willing to try.
