sooo...

i went and got the ultrasound, which was really cool, cos of the warm blue goo, and not-so-cool, cos i was really sick of drinking water after the first GALLON or so... okay, i'm exaggerating. but yeah. nothing really, except some fluid. (i can't wait till i have a baby and can see it on that thing! way cool. okay, i can wait. but still.)

so then i had to go to this guy doctor and he said i was just OVULATING. and that sounded like complete male bullshit to me, cos i ovulate all the fucking time and it doesn't hurt, plus what does he know? so i went to planned parenthood for a second opinion. and they said actually, sometimes it can hurt, and the best thing to do is maybe go on bc's. and maybe since i'd just stopped my bc's a few months ago, i was "ovulating with a vengeance" (i want a chick band that's called ovulating with a vengeance. hah).

i am never going off bc. never ever. i normally get short painful tiny little cramps when i ovulate and i don't want vengeful ovaries.

What a load of crap. When I wasn't on birth control pills and I ovulated it hurt. There was a tiny pinching cramp. I think that's such a crap ass reason to go on birth control pills. Why are doctors so birth control pill crazy?

I've seen dozens of posts here of girls saying that they went to their doctor to complain about an irregular period, cramps, bloating, heavy flow or whatever and the doctors' immediate and only suggestion appears to be birth control pills, birth control pills and more birth control pills. Maybe they're getting kickbacks.
