um, yeah, so.

the pp lady said you usually get cysts anyway, like a lot of you said, and they’re supposed to go away when you ovulate, but maybe one of mine didn’t and so they had a little fight and it prolly hurt so bad all at once cos maybe it popped. ow. but all i could really do was let my body absorb it back in. and maybe that’s where the fluid was from, cos maybe it made some blood when they were fighting, and blood really reacts bad with your uterus lining. and she told me to take aleve (nuproxen sodium) instead of the tylenol with codeine that all those MEN were prescribing. grr men. so i did, and i had a few days off, and it got better and now I don’t even feel anything bad. but i think i was taking too much aleve stuff cos after i stopped taking it i got all weird in my knees. but yeah, i’m better now. phew.

Grrl, i've had several episodes of ovarian cysts rupturing, and it ain't fun. thank goodness you're over that.

why were you going to see a male gynecologist if they make you feel uncomfortable? Take charge, girl! I don't see male doctors at all because they make me uncomfortable. It's not like it was a serious emergency and you had to see the first person available. If you don't want a male gynecologist, don't go see one!

i went to the ER and after four hours they hooked me up with a male doc who did blood tests, a urinalysis, gave me an iv, and THEN told me i needed a pelvic exam. there was a woman in the room, but still.
