*Takes a seat in the hut*

Thanks to the parsley tea, my period has come a full week early. I will be able to keep my ob/gyn appointment. I am using my keeper for the first time and am in love. I wore it overnight with only one small problem. Seeing the small pool of blood when emptying it was a little weird but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

The parsley tea and keeper have totally changed my attitude towards my menstrual cycle. I used to look on my period as a burden -- something that I had no control over and that I had to plan around. The birth control pills I take never gave me a feeling of control but did make things a little more predictable. I'm now realizing that I do have a certain amount of control over my period and it's a very liberating feeling.

I'd like to thank everyone in this wonderful community for all the great information, support and fun. I always love reading entries here.

How exactly does this parsley tea thing work? Is it safe?

Well, my period has always been REALLY irregular. Last year I went *seven months* without one, and I'm almost at three months right now. I've been to the gyno for it, and they've never found anything wrong (had an ultrasound and everything). I mean, I guess it's not so bad NOT bleeding every month, but I'd really kind of like my period to come... so this idea sounds neat.

How does it taste?

How about fresh parsley? It's usually cheap, and it's really easy to grow.

yay

I'm so glad the parsely tea thing worked for you. The first time I tried it, I was so in shock that I could control something that for so long had in effect controlled me. It was amazingly liberating, hard to explain to someone who hasn't had that experience. How many cups did you drink over how long?

Damn. That's so cool. Next time mine decides to act up and be late again, I'll have to try that.

I wouldn't say you *have* to go to the doctor, but the thing is, if your uterus lining doesn't want to shed, there might be something else going on like a pregnancy. Parsely tea is not an abortificant, so if you are pregnant, it will not make you bleed. However, it's not good for the fetus either, so you should stop if it doesn't work after that long. The other thing is that if your uterus lining doesn't want to shed, you could have some other kind of disease you should get checked out for.

Besides, I know three days doesn't sound like a long time, but in reality, this stuff works fast. The longest I've ever had to do this was a day and a half.
